Novalynx Silicon Pyranometer
Measure solar radiation with a Novalynx pyranometer
The Novalynx Pyranometer is a robust and reliable sensor designed to measure global solar radiation. It features a silicon photovoltaic detector mounted in a fully cosine-corrected miniature head. Compared to a thermopile type pyranometer, the Novalynx performs very well at a fraction of the cost.
The sensor is enclosed in a weatherproof anodized aluminium case with acrylic diffuser and stainless steel hardware. Its small size (3 x 1.4 inches) means it is easily mounted with no error induced by orientation. Integration with the AQM 65 or Dust Monitor is seamless allowing data to be logged alongside the other parameters installed without any specialist knowledge required.
