AQY R Air Quality Network Monitor
AQY R Air Quality Network Monitor
The AQY R is a small sensor monitoring system, available as part of the Aeroqual Unify sensor network solution. As part of Unify the AQY R can extend air quality networks cost effectively, delivering scientifically credible hyperlocal data for the professional user.
The AQY R measures PM10, PM2.5, nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and ozone (O3). The successor to the AQY which has been deployed on thousands of sites across the globe, AQY R is simple to set up and is well suited to urban and roadside monitoring networks, community exposure monitoring, and industrial perimeter monitoring.
Industry-leading measurement of PM2.5/10 and part-per-billion (ppb) detection of ozone (O3) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
Pairs exclusively with Aeroqual Unify, our air sensor network solution that delivers trusted hyperlocal data without high operating costs
Product overview
The AQY R is a small sensor monitoring system, available as part of the Aeroqual Unify sensor network solution. As part of Unify the AQY R can extend air quality networks cost effectively, delivering scientifically credible hyperlocal data for the professional user.
Aeroqual Unify is a seamlessly integrated package of monitors, software, and services that delivers credible and useful hyperlocal air quality data, without the high operating costs.
Backed by the MOMA virtual calibration technique, Unify produces accurate hyperlocal sensor data you can trust, with all calibrations quality controlled by our Aeroqual data experts.
Network management tools reduce the need for on-site visits and improve the quality of your sensor network data, reducing time spent on expensive field visits and data processing.
Data is consolidated and validated by our expert team before being outputted via API or data format of your choice.
Unify can also be extended to other sensors in your network such as PurpleAir, Met One, Davis – ensuring data quality is upheld to the same high standards.
The AQY R follows on from the AQY and uses the same sensing technology proven in AQ-SPEC tests and on hundreds of sites across North America. An upgrade to the control and communications system ensures reliable operation and maximum uptime in a wide range of environmental conditions even when power and connectivity is patchy.
AQY R delivers accurate measurement of key outdoor pollutants, ozone (O3) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), in an affordable, highly portable system. Corrections are made onboard in real-time to account for interferences such as as temperature and humidity (a known issue for optical PM sensors) and for ozone interference on the nitrogen sensor (a known issue for electrochemical sensors).
The AQY R features on-board storage, ensuring no data ever gets lost. Data is transmitted to our cloud servers every minute – ensuring data is truly available in real-time.
The unit can be mounted to walls, poles, or railings using a supplied mounting bracket or simply with cable ties. While intended to operate in a fixed location, the AQY R can be moved throughout your network with ease thanks to a lightweight, portable design.
What can it measure?
The AQY R system delivers accurate real-time monitoring of PM2.5/10, ozone (O3) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2).
